Been there done that but a great shot with the kodachrome power.    The road up to the bridge was almost too much for my camry when I went.

I hear ya.  Drove out there in a rental SUV about 11 years ago.  My teeth are still chattering!

Very nice vantage point from the "other" side!  Funny how everyone talks about the road (me included).  But man it's a great spot once you get there!

I'm surprised the infrared switch heaters were still in place as late as 1987.
