I saw the bridge in the lowered position from the elevated portion of the Hwy 12 crossing upriver so I GPS'ed my way to Brazos and happened to arrive as the trainset was just getting ready to cross the bridge after leaving the interchange with the California Northern at Lombard. I go through Schellville fairly often on the way to Napa.
