Nostalgia & History > The Katy RestaurantDate: 09/16/20 11:34 The Katy Restaurant Author: gcm April 88
The Katy Restaurant was along the MKT (the railroad just in back of it) a short distance SE of Smithville,Tx. I never had a chance to try the food and not sure if it was still open when I took this. Looking at a 2019 Google photo, the building and boxcars were still there. Gary Date: 09/16/20 11:48 Re: The Katy Restaurant Author: wabash2800 Thanks for sharing. I would suppose it was the former Katy Depot?
