On Oct 16, 1992, the Indiana Transportation Museum operated an excursion for the Monon Historical & Technical Society. This was a round trip from the museum in Noblesville to Indianapolis and return over ex-NKP trackage. The train consisted of the museum's two F Units in Monon paint bracketing a single heavyweight coach in pull - pull fashion. FP7 #96 was on the south end and F7A #83 was on the north end.
