Typical rainbow of foreign power around NP in photo 3.  Is that a black Penn Central unit to the left of the UP 45?

I think it might be IC, black IC units were showing up back then @ Bailey
On second look maybe not, as IC had the diamond logo on the cab on the black units so you may be correct

Another great set, valmont, especially for this early GE fan. Really like that first image of the high-nose U25B, and the third one of the U50 with the MP SD40. If that lashup went back down the Marysville Sub to Kansas City, that sure would have been something to see and photograph. (Hint, hint...anyone?).

Thanks for all of these great images of the "North Platte Power Parade" (my term) back in the day of all of the "NP" run-throughs. All just really great stuff.

This is probably an issue with the site, and I'm sure Todd is on it. The images were there earlier in several viewings at different times as I re-read the thread to see what comments others might have posted. I noticed that this is occurring with some other threads as well.
