Author: 3rdswitch . . . back in MAR '86, for whatever reason, five SD39's, one quarter of the roster, ended up together as a set coming in on a westbound train at Santa Fe's Hobart Yard, Los Angeles, engine facility. This was unusual as many were being used in yard service in Barstow.
