The Shotgun Microphone Test (SP)
Author: MacBeau

Thirty years back I secured my first video camera, and immediately discovered that the built-in microphone was never going to make the nut. The slightest airflow across it sounded like small animals being tortured (not too unlike certain forms of contemporary music). The fix turned out to be an external shotgun microphone secured to a separate tripod and buried at the bottom of a 32oz In-N-Out cup packed with foam from Athearn blue box diesels.
This SP westbound climbing the Palmdale cutoff at Mormon Rocks in a stiff breeze with five SDs up front and two more on the back was the first test.

Be of good cheer,
—Mac

Wow, looking at the bushes moving, that's impressive to only hear the beautiful 645s.  Thank you!
