Ominous sky overhead as this Amtrak train zips along near Sherman Hill .... shot this on June 16, 1982.

Fantastic!  That's just about a month before my grandfather and I rode from Ogden to Cheyenne on the SFZ.  I was 12 and that was my first time riding the "western" trains (met John Madden and I stil have his autograph on a timetable!).

Great shot of AMTK...and a mean sky. There are so many pictures posted that have a title or description including storm or ominous that look like another winter day in Seattle. This one definitely looks like mean sky.
