What a good-looking paint scheme! Just the right balance of paint tones & "railroady" atmosphere without being over-the-top gawdy. Too bad it didn't last longer...

Had a white shirt ruined by that motor when it was a BN.It was chucking oil out the stack just as I walked down the walkway.

Thanks for the photo.  The U-boat era of the Kyle tends to get lost between the Alcos that came before and the tunnel motors that came after.
