Georgetown Railroad S12 Baldwin

1005 is at Georgetown,Tx.
The Georgetown Railroad was operating a number of Baldwins at that time.
1005 was built by  Baldwin in June 1952 as Missouri-Kansas-Texas 1213.  It was renumbered to 45 in approximately 1959. became GRR 1005 on August 12, 1969.   It was retired in 1983.

Very nice catch.  They were an almost vanished model in 1981.
The K&IT had six Baldwin switchers,  The elementary school I attended was adjacent to their mainline.  I watched the railroad at every opportunity and can still remember the Baldwin sound well.
