October 26, 1986 continued.  After our success above Falls Cut Tunnel, Brad and I walked back to Fairhope PA. While crossing Wills Creek, we got this eastbound with three Chessie GPs: 4403-4308-4191.  After crossing, we climbed up the hill on the other side and waited. We were rewarded with a westbound ore pellet train pulled by SD50s 8566-8561-8559 on the point and SD50-SD50-SD40 helper (8595-8638-7581).  - Eric Blasko

How the cliffside shot looked about 25 years later.
For about 15+ years there was a railfan "park" on the other side, that ran from the crossing to the far left of this photo; there was RV spots at far center left, tent camping in the meadow, and an A-Frame cabin behind the small hill. Benches were placed on the hill at center right just left of the RRcrossing, and another just off the left side of the photo. The owner closed and sold the property in 2017.

Yup. My wife's 50th birthday present for me was a trip down to the A frame, a very nice relaxing 3 days with her. ( and with a few trains as well).  That was a cool spot.
