 COLOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newest Imbued with hues work, the B&O pic, with a couple older shots other may have posted.  This B&O shot is the my favorite B&O i can remember too date.

the rocket pic is in Minnesota

the SF pic is titled in Phoenix

Wow! I thought it was just me that didn't care for the modern designs!

These are timeless classics! Theses trains still look modern and awesome today. Wish I could climb onboard.

Must have been a 1937 demonstration tour with the new streamlined Super Chief equipment.  Santa Fe never regularly ran such a swanky train down the Peavine even in the best of times.

Phoenix had a Union Station used by both SP and Santa Fe, though certainly SP had more passenger trains calling there.

All beautiful shots. Color is good.
Dont know if it is still in business, but a number of years ago there was a restaurant at the Fairibault MN station with outside seating between the train and the station. RIGHT  next to the tracks. Good food, no trains came by, certainly no RI passenger trains.
