Failed to hear from home by mail. Plans for the big hop. Back to the depot for the sake of the lighting system. To lunch. Miss Finley and Rosy absent. To room No. 8. Mr. Stewart changes the program. Not to attend the dance. So I retire. 4 pm dreamland. Awakened at 7:30 pm by Stewart but it fails to have an effect so I slept some more. 11:30 pm and heard the dance noise coming off. Kane works awhile for me so here goes for one o'clock. 570 Sunday, October 30th, 1921 1:30 am at the depot. Kane goes up to the pool hall. Dance out. Sweeping the platform for it was a keen morning.
