Dwatry's post of photos from yesterday of the Washington section of the Broadway Limited brought to mind one time I photographed it turning onto the Port Road at Perryville, Md. Behind the new SDP40-F was an interesting consist: a former ATSF baggage car, a former Rock Island 8 roomette/6double bedroom sleeper, a former Nickel Plate 5 double bedroom/ buffet-lounge, and what appears to be a former ACL and SCL 52 seat coach.

Nice catch! Old Penn Central RR Washington, DC or Harrisburg, PA based passenger train and engine crews worked between Harrisburg and Washington, DC.
