Nostalgia & History > Looking For ATSF CLIC Book Covering Richmond-Oakland AreaDate: 02/20/21 12:28 Looking For ATSF CLIC Book Covering Richmond-Oakland Area Author: phthithu I'm working on a project making some layers of railroad routes and locations in the Richmond to Oakland, CA region and can't find anything on the Santa Fe's customers here. Does anyone have a copy of an early CLIC book that would provide this info? Particularly useful would be a book that predates the closing of the abandonment of the Oakland distict, but a CLIC book from any era would be great nevertheless.
These layers will be available to the public for free as a resource for researchers/railfans at some point in near future. Thanks if you can help. Feel free to contact me by pm if that works best for you. Finished product will basically be another version of the trackmaps: San Francisco Railroads Collection for Google Earth. Attached image shows the WP's trackage and customers circa 1960 around their 25th Street yard in San Francisco. |
