Having just passed the much photographed Tunnel 1 and Plainview, not far ahead the tracks will make a turn into the canyons and the 'Main Line Through the Rockies'.

It's been a long time since I've been up there but I believe the spot that Bruce was standing at is towards the west end of the siding at Plainview. The bridge over Hwy 72 on the horseshoe curve is a few miles away. Did Bruce catch the train coming through Plainview? The train passed here moments before and is now going over the west switch of Plain siding. If he got a shot here it would have been pretty backlit on the nose. Posted from Android |
