Two Joes look great on a train.

Wouldn't be a full train without a caboose. There must be a story here.

Mayhaps cars 13 and higher are parked in the dirt east of the photo.

Great BB shot! Looks like caboose on rear?

Great shot. Or perhaps it has a bay window caboose that is not easily visible?

Tonnage on dead freights varied considerably by day of week but the power didn't. When this train gets to Silver Bow, it will drop that UP box car but it may well pick up about 40 cars off the UP interchange.

Looks like a short, fast train Milwaukee Road style.  Another good one!

I just don't see any orange paint trailing low behind the last brown boxcar or a break in the light grey tailings in the BA&P tracks.

Bruce must have liked this spot. An earlier post from the same location

He must have gotten a flat tire, car over heated or such to have gotten that picture.  The current view shows that Bruce was taking pictures from I-15 or whatever the previous highway was labeled.  Silver Bow Creek looks considerably healthier in the modern day view as compared to the earlier version.  Click on "current view" to see what it looks like today.
