Date: 03/07/21 15:58 Re: BB132: MILW SW1 train branch line scene Author: WoodwardEJ Menard Branch left the mainline at Three Forks, MT and headed east to the south side of Logan, Manhattan, Belgrade Junction, Four Corners, then on to the east side of Bozeman, and then north and northwest to Springhill and ultimately Menard, MT. It had two short branchs - one that served the SW side of Belgrade, and one south from Four Corners to the Bozeman Hot Springs and the Gallatin Gateway Inn.

Kris Date: 03/08/21 08:27 Re: BB132: MILW SW1 train branch line scene Author: ntharalson Thanks for posting. Reminds me of a Richard Steinheimer phto published in TRAINS tht showed a similar view only crossing the NP. When I rode the North Coast Limited in 1967, I went passed that spot
and remember being disappointed there was no train like the Steinheimer shot. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA |
