I think the soil around the Rocket shop there needed even more TLC than the Geep did.   I'm sure Metra has had to clean up a lot of soil there since the time this shot was taken.

1314 would indeed get some attention when is was rebuilt as the 4487 the following year.  Thanks for showing this old war horse before it turned blue.

In the background, is that the front of the Independence, the RI's Bicentennial E-unit?   I'm thinking the pointy bit of white is one tip of the big star on the nose.

Yes Norm that is the Rock's Bicentennial E unit in back.
