Can someone help on the location of this train - 1936 - M10002 - CNW-UP "City of Los Angeles" ?

Looks like Weber Canyon, Utah.

If the background is real, Echo is the first guess.
Isn't everything real, except the train?

One thing that should have tipped me off that  this picture isn't kosher is that the passenger cars are in the yellow and gray paint scheme which didn't start until 1940.
