WAG Wednesday: Alma Branch! (pt 15)
Author: santafe199

Here are 2 more priceless images as we wind down the "Alma Branch" series...

1. AT&SF 1079 is westbound* in a photo taken near Eskridge, KS.

2. The 1079 and train has arrived in Burlingame, KS and will enter the 1st District main line for its return to Topeka.
2 photos taken June 14, 1952  by William A. Gibson (WAG) Sr.

Thanks for looking back!

*Corrected by Art. Dang I looked at sun angle and figured I had a 60-40 shot at guessing right... ;)

Note to those of you who have been following this "Alma" series: I apologize for this slap-dash posting. My main computer is giving me fits, so this week's WAG was posted from my laptop, and I didn't have full use of the features I'm used to. I'll have to take my computer to the local "Computer RX" shop for some attitude adjustment, so I'll likely be outta the TO loop for a few days...

I want to thank Lance as well for this series, most enjoyable for sure!

Also, Art I really appreciate you and your families photos and thank you for them.

Maybe an Alma branch photo clinic in the future when we finally put Covid behind us.
