UP trains in the West, 1990s and 2002.
1. Eastbound freight at Nolin, Oregon on 31 July 1994 behind a trio of SD40-2s (3489, 3313, 3409).  Nolin is between Hinkle and Pendleton.
2. Westbound freight headed for Las Vegas at Moapa, Nevada on 7 June 1998.  UP 3717, SP 8555, UP 9071, SP 7451. 
3. Eastbound exiting Chilcoot Tunnel at Reno Jct on 8 September 2002 on the former WP.  SD70M 4626, C40-8 9052, two SP patch SD40T-2s, 8803 and 8782.

I've got many photos of that same curve at Nolin.  Your photo from back in 1994, back when UP's main line over the Blue Mtns was busy and screaming SD40-2's muscling the trains up the grade.  Sweet photo.
