Green Mountain Alco Switchers
Author: train1275

A beautiful September 6, 1977 afternoon finds the Green Mountain Railroad job hustling home with ALCO S4's 305 (ex D&H 3050) and 303 (ex D&H 3036) at East Wallingford, VT. These little engines sure gave a spirited and scenic chase in the spirit of the old Rutland Railroad. Barely visible on the bridge girder isĀ  faded RUTLAND.

Super photo, thanks for posting. I've never seen the two S-4's together, I got 303 with an RS-1 in 1974.
