Nostalgia & History > Green Mountain Alco SwitchersDate: 06/17/21 16:08 Green Mountain Alco Switchers Author: train1275 A beautiful September 6, 1977 afternoon finds the Green Mountain Railroad job hustling home with ALCO S4's 305 (ex D&H 3050) and 303 (ex D&H 3036) at East Wallingford, VT. These little engines sure gave a spirited and scenic chase in the spirit of the old Rutland Railroad. Barely visible on the bridge girder isĀ faded RUTLAND.
