Milwaukee's purchase of 64 MP15's starting in 1975 sent these and a whole lot of other cool units to the deadline.  BSB

Awesome! Does anybody know the engine specs? Model?

I worked on submarine FM diesels...wondering just how similar/different they really were.

Shot's 1 & 2  H16-44  8 cylinder 38D8-1/8 Engine rated at 1600hp, 850rpm.  Shot 3 Model H16-66 used the same eng at same RPM only spread over 6 Traction Motors Westinghouse Model 370DEZ. Great book if ya can find it is John Kirklands The Diesel Builders Fairbanks-Morse and Lima Hamilton  by Interurban Press. Lots of info on FM Locomotives.  Ben
