Speaking of the Dixie Fire, Just to the right of this bridge is 60" broken top tree that is still smoking as of last Thursday.
The fire is deep inside the tree. Maybe the heavy rains this weekend will finally drown it.
Also, last thursday, the UP was still making repairs on that bridge.

Well, it is still smouldering at 1300 hours Saturday, but the next storm is supposed to be good for 3.5 to 5.5 inches of rain, so that may do it!
