SP seventies show . . .

. . . in SEPT '77, it was just another set of great old SP "Hauler" power coming out of the facility at West Colton yard to "Haul" another train west to a number of destinations in the LA Basin. Included is BN 6806, one of a number of BN SD40-2's SP borrowed for RCE testing.

Too bad that engine consist wasn't headed to the hill to test out the BN's RC technology. that would definitely have been a sight if it had.
