I took this shot in September 1968 ... not sure where, so could use help with that and also what train it was.

My guess is near Medicine Bow, WY with snow capped Elk Mountain in the distance . The train would be eastbound . Car behind the UP yellow car is a Pennsylvania RR car.
Likely a charter train originating back east ?

Old UP RR Cheyenne, WY based passenger train crews worked to and from Green River, WY.Cheyenne based engine crews worked to and from Rawlins, WY.

I concour,between Medicine Bow and Hanna, just east of the overpass with  e/b COSF  or COP?
