A southbound manifest departing Cincinnati has just crossed the Ohio River and starts up Erlanger Hill.  Former GS&F and CofG Geeps shove on the rear to ensure a favorable outcome.  Ludlow KY, July 1978.

That GP18 pusher was in the last batch of locomotives delivered to the independent CofG. They were retired in the mid-1980s.
