Great steam excursion film.
I can't believe how high those "fans" climbed up that signal !
That is one of the tallest signals I've seen.

I wonder if those opening scenes were maybe at Olivers Yard in South Bend, Indiana.  Hard to tell, I used to hang out there often in the 80's but much of the structures and track layout would have changed by my time.  The overhead bridge shots later dont look like the scene for the Wabash Fourth District flyover near Kingsbury, so I am uncertain.  Thanks for sharing this historical gem in any event.
