A trio of relatively clean Speed Lettered units with SP SD70M 9806 on the point are seen ready to depart with a westbound mixed manifest at Kern Jct., Bakersfield, CA.
SP SD70M 9809 leads an eastbound mixed freight around the curve at Walong approaching the famous Tehachapi loop.
A pair of SD70M's and an SD45 led by SP 9815 are leading a westbound manifest across the bridge at Woodford, CA. in the Tehachapi mountains.

Darn near always an older EMD heavy accompanying these -- hard to find pictures of matched sets. But having that third EMD be an SD50, as in photo 2, was probably less common...
