Nostalgia & History > Amtrak FP7 revisited ... sure a long time since a wash rack!!!Date: 01/14/22 11:43 Amtrak FP7 revisited ... sure a long time since a wash rack!!! Author: valmont Back on Jan 11 I posted pic 1 under the subject line 'Amtrak FP7A's paint and numbers game' ... the date of that photo was 4/20/80. Take a look at picture 2 taken by Keith Ardinger (FT on TO) in 4/78. In addition to the 'old' Amtrak numbers, and the same 2 units, note, the matching pattern of 'splash marks' or whatever on the sides near the nose ... hopefully they didn't wait that long to clean the inside of their passenger cars!!! ; ^ )
p.s. they did do some washing but left the 'trademarks' Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/14/22 11:51 by valmont. Date: 01/14/22 12:58 Re: Amtrak FP7 revisited ... sure a long time since a wash rack!! Author: texchief1 Nice shots!
