Nostalgia & History > Canadian Pacific F7A in Northern CaliforniaDate: 01/14/22 16:36 Canadian Pacific F7A in Northern California Author: JanGAustin This passenger special I believe was going from Canada to San Francisco (I didn't have much information on this train other than it would be traveling down the Valley subdivision). I caught it north of Richvale, California on November 4, 2000.
Photographed on Fujichrome Sensia 100 and digitized with an Epson 500V flatbed film scanner. Jan Austin Chico, CA Photography by Jan G. I snagged a couple of photos of the train while I was parked at the CalTrain station at 4th & King. I had forgotten the reason for the trip, but fjc’s post said that is for the Fairmont Hotel chain. I have fond memories of the Fairmont in San Francisco, especially the Tonga Room!
