Open house at Oakland Army Base, 1990

From May 18, 1990:
1. US Army 1269 and WP GP7 713 in the Oakland Terminal Yard.
2. H12-44 1856, with the Bay Bridge in the distance.
3. Oakland Terminal DS4-4-1000 #101, and 1856 with some old SP commute cars.

I notice the PV Tamalpias peaking out between the two engines in the first picture. It was stored on the OT for many years.

Even that Eastern span of the Bay Bridge is history.

Hadn't seen a photo of an RS4TC at Oakland before, thanks.  Was the H12-44 already a part of the PLA's collection by then or was it still an army grunt?

It was already donated to the PLA.
