Nostalgia & History > Forty FridayDate: 05/13/22 05:57 Forty Friday Author: thebluecomet Conrail had quite a few SD40's and SD-40-2's. Here is train ALSR departing out the west end of the Allentown, PA yard. October 29, 1989.

It became the 6989, and went to CSX after the Conrail split-up; it became their 8880. I have not found a photograph of it newer than 2017, so I don't know if it is still on CSX's roster.
