CB&Q 9227, a 1946 NW2 with a train of Christmas colors, westbound with the East-End Way Freight in Clarendon Hills, IL on December 31, 1969. She became BN 524.

Gotta love the "waycar" as they called them on the Q. Several from that series pre dated 1900. They sure got their money out of them. I'd be willing to bet the inside was as spotless as what we see here.

And, note that most of these cabooses still had wood beam trucks! They rode very nice at slow speeds, but don't know how well they handled 50+ mph. The ones that had been retrofitted with Bettenborf style truck weren't as nice riding.
