Cool - I'm pretty sure that RS3s were the Vermont Railway's first road power.  Also like the former Erie coach in the picture...there were a couple of these cars that made appearances on D&H equipped Amtrak Adirondack in the mid-seventies.

Ex-L&HR, whose RS3's had big number boards like that. RRpicturearchives says it was L&HR 12. L&NE had RS2's, no RS3's.

Is that a corn syrup tank car?  Looks kinda old.
