New Haven FL9 at Manitou
Author: train1275

I found this old scan in a lost file and don't recall too many details.

Metro-North Commuter Railroad FL-9 #2002 in New Haven scheme at Manitou, NY along the Husdon River with Bear Mountain bridge in the background.
A railfan and his companion take in the action with us as the train speeds north towards Poughkeepsie.

Back when I worked for MNCR at Harmon Shop I frequently ate lunch in the cab of these units instead of going to the company canteen.

Circa 1990

Nope, I know Jerry very well, and knew him well before this, not him.
