Well, #1 is on the former Q's triple track main out of Chicago.  #'s 2 and 3 are both ex-Milw trackage in the locations noted.  Nice shots, thanks for posting.

Always amazed at how the Sandberg family could strike so many deals over the years. Quite an empire.
For those of us in the Midwest, it has been the best show around.  Throw in Silvis this year and it can only get more interesting.

Whats the date on the Clinton photo from 2004? My dad and I rode the Monday trip from Davenport to Dubuque. I even see the car we rode on, the former MILW biz car Montana.

Nice stuff. However, I think your #1 photo is at Highlands Station, with the big stack from the Hinsdale Hospital in the background, plus the old Oak Street bridge visible behind the signal bridge.
