However this Georgia RR train certainly connected with ACL at Augusta and there may have been through-cars that went from Augusta to Florence and then onto the mainline Palmetto. This was ACL's way of competing for traffic between Atlanta and the northeast, although it's fair to say that Southern and SAL were far more successful in that regard.

I always like trains with a lot of head end cars. Wondering if that first car is either a horse-scenery-express car or one of the ACL's converted hospital cars?
