C630 built Octiber 1967 as Reading RR 5309.

AMazing the paint looks that bad in 14 years.

But even more amazing the Conrail blue on the unit in front of it is peeling off after less than 5 years.

Since it’s a blue Alco, probably minimal (if any) surface prep.

We (the RCT&HS) made arrangements with Chrome Locomotive to remove parts from the 6762 for spares in advance of some folks that went to Silvis, IL to prep the CR 6761 (RDG 5308) for its trip back to Reading. The cab doors, battery box covers, and a host of parts including all of the cards in the electrical cabinet were stuffed inside the 6761.  Those horns came back to Reading, too. 6762's engine was later sold to an Oil Industry customer.
