A Southern Pacific Employees Special, 1985

The Southern Pacific ran two employees specials from San Jose to Sacramento and return on the weekend of April 27 and 28, 1985.  One on each day.   On Sunday 6051 remained in Sacramento to become an artifact at the California State Railroad Museum. This is the Saturday westbound train in Pinole, CA.  The power was E9A 6051 and commuter SDP45s 3201 and 3207.  Roger Puta photo.
