2:34 PM, 30 Aug 1973. They're maybe
a half-hour late, but with the schedule pad
they'll be into Oakland less than 10 min late.

Why don't we see short cab-over trucks
these days, like the one pulling the Lucky trailers?

Apparently PG&E (?) has since replaced
that tower on the north side of the Strait
with a taller one. Does that mean this tower
wasn't tall enough for some ships that could
fit under the bridges?

This location was a real part of my youth. My Dad would take me fishing for Stripped Bass on boats we would board at Dowrelios the building seen on the left of your photo. I remember watching Cab Forwards running along the shoreline. Thanks for all your outstanding posts.
