Canadian Pacific 2317 at Slateford Pennsylvania
Author: trainman7774

On a wet and humid August 30, 2003, Canadian Pacific 2317 runs around the Steamtown excursion train in Slateford Pennsylvania.

Canadian Pacific 2317 is a class "G-3c" 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive built by the Montreal Locomotive Works for the Canadian Pacific Railway.

The locomotive is now on display at Steamtown. It has been out service since September 2010. There are currently no plans to return it to service.

I hope everyone enjoys one of my early digital photos!
