He had completely removed himself from railroad photography and was only interested in bowling. I was with Charles Winters and we visited him in his home which may have been in Altus though I've really forgotten. Asked about his photographs, he said, "oh, that's all up in the attic somewhere". He was gracious, but had clearly moved on. And yes, some of his Frisco work is unmatched. Gordon |
