Nostalgia & History > MKT "cabless" booster 401BDate: 12/02/22 11:58 MKT "cabless" booster 401B Author: gcm Oct 77
In the Katy Eureka Yard at Houston. Probably a repost but reworked them. Nice lineup - GP40 171, booster 401B, GP38-2 317 and red GP7 114. The cabless booster made it down to Houston every once in a while. It was rebuilt from a damaged F3 in 1974. Today it is at the Red River Railroad Museum in Denison, Texas. Most especially appreciate your close-ups of #401B; MKT was not going to waste an operable unit. Thanks for your super photo posting. ALLEN Date: 12/02/22 13:45 Re: MKT "cabless" booster 401B Author: refarkas Great images for the detail-oriented railfan/modeler.

New Haven did the same thing with the nose of one of their DL-109's, with even more awkward looking results. EO |
