Around South FL in Early ‘88

The south end of the US rail network was down there in the weeds, Florida City, Florida, 1/7/88.  From 1912 till 1935 the Florida East Coast Railway extended another 126 miles to Key West.  There are more pictures of other railroad things in south Florida at:

Gerry,
 I also enjoy seeing pictures of South Florida. Having grown up there and worked for the FEC. I used to be the trainman on the homestead run, that ran 3 days a week during the early 1980's.
