Southern Pacific (SP) GP30 5010 makes a relatively rare appearance in Roseville on an unknown date in 1978.
SP 5010 is an EMD GP30, SP Class EF423-1. Reportedly: SP 5010 was built in 1963 by EMD as a model GP30, builders number 28182, SP 7400, SP Class DF-621. In 1965 it was renumbered to SP 5010 EMD GP30, SP Class EF423-1.
The disposition of this locomotive is, retired 1986 and sold in 1987, presumed scrapped.
