Getting nosy with General Electric (vol #8) U30CG redux

Originally posted 9 years ago, I suspect this oddball will rate another look-see without ruffling too many feathers...

1. AT&SF U30CG stares back at me through my medium telephoto setting at Argentine, KS on January 1, 1977.

Thanks for looking back (again)!

Did these U30CG 's have tracking problems at high speeds and were removed from passenger service ? What about the U28CG 's ? (The Texas Chief I rode in mid December, 1969 from Ft. Worth to Chicago  ATSF#16 was pulled by U 28CG's running at high speeds [ 90 mph] .)

No feathers ruffled. Always good to see a U30CG. Thanks!

Sorry I'm a day late, but seeing another great U30CG photo makes this a great day.
Thanks for showing again.  Reposts are always welcome; TO has new members all
the time so repeats are often new to many of us.
