Santa Fe Sunday.
Author: hank

A westbound manifest at MP 251.5, Yellow Bank curve on the BNSF Marceline sub ion October 7, 2001.  It was getting rare to see standard cab EMD power on the tBNSF (Santa Fe) transcon.  Locomotive models were SD40-2, SD45 and SD45-2B (I think).

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks for posting, Ron.   As you could tell, westbounds were a tough shot at this location.  Easstbounds were much better and I have the slide to prove it.  A solid Santa Fe/standard cab consist in 2001 is a great catch!

Des Moines River crossing.  Why do they call it yellow curve?
Here's a shot out the back of #4!
