Nostalgia & History > C&EI 3 schemes, w/fine looking F ... another lookDate: 05/22/23 07:43 C&EI 3 schemes, w/fine looking F ... another look Author: valmont Three very different schemes for this not-so-big RR ... what do you think of 1407's scheme?

Well I guess if your a fan of Love Boat. 😋 Date: 05/22/23 13:02 Re: C&EI 3 schemes, w/fine looking F ... another look Author: ironmtn I'll take the blue-and-orange any day, and three times on Sunday. Not too terribly many color images of that livery around. It took years of looking at later C&EI zebra-stripe Geep photos (while living in C&EI territory, and with an aunt whose home was right across the highway from its mainline) before I ever saw a blue-and-orange F-unit image.
Sorry, but the grab iron aesthetics are very incidental. C&EI was a very safety-conscious road. They're there where they are for a purpose, and I do not find them to be that intrusive. A particularly nice Wallin image. Thanks. MC Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 05/22/23 13:07 by ironmtn.
